Lori McElmoyle, LICSW, earned her masters degree from Boston University’s School of Social Work in 2002. She went on to earn her enhanced license in independent clinical social work after several years of additional practice experience.
Lori has over 20 years of experience working in outpatient therapy, school settings and community based programs with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds.
She spent several years at the South Boston Collaborative Center working in substance abuse/dual diagnosis related fields. In that role she also provided consultation to Boston area schools and gained expertise with the IEP/504 process.
Prior to joining Hyde Park Pediatrics, Lori worked at Norwood Behavioral Health offering parent workshops, parent coaching, family therapy and individual therapy, as well as behavioral health consultation at Norwood High School.
Lori has additional training in the utilization of mindfulness and stress reduction to combat the symptoms of anxiety and depression.
As part of our Integrated Behavioral Health Treatment Team, Lori provides evaluation, consultation, brief treatment, and referral guidance services to our Hyde Park Pediatrics families.
